Apple is a sweet 3 year old shepherd mix (she's shepherd mixed with some sort of fluffy dog like possibly Golden Retriever) Apple was rescued from a high kill animal control facility on her last day. They were out of space and she was out of time. We get emails like this every day and some dogs we just have to save. Her soulful scared eyes drew us in and we hope they do for some lucky person as well. We don't know how to describe Apple except that she sort of looks like a German Shepherd mix with long hair. Unfortunately she was severely matted so we had to shave all of her beautiful hair off. Luckily it is growing back nicely. Apple is crate trained and does not mind hanging out in her crate. She enjoys going on walks and does really well on a leash. She is okay with other dogs but she also would not mind being an only dog if her family had time to spend with her..
