Precious little Penny came into a city shelter very neglected--- she had very little hair and a terrible flea allergy-One of our fosters went to rescue another pup and knew that no one would adopt her the way she looked--so she took her, too !!! With just a few weeks of good food, and meds--her fur is growing in like velvet---and she is doing great--- we think she is mostly shih-Tzu---but she might have a little something else in her mix--she is a little longer than a shih Tzu--- she was shy when she came to us-but she has learned that laps and love are great !!!! Penny would be a great loving companion for his new family---s he gets along with the other dogs--but does not really play that much with them, although she is starting to play with a couple of the small fosters in her home ---- she would be fine as an only with lots of walks and snuggles---- this little girl has lots of love to give---- please contact us if you have a empty lap-or need a sweet loving puppy girl !!! Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines. All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.
