They think I am about 1-1/2 years old and weigh in at around 15 pounds. I am a little bundle of energy... so looking for an active family that will love to take me for long walks and provide me with a playmate to run and romp with. In my foster home my best friend is a 100 pound German Shepherd so I have no fear of large dogs and see everyone as a good friend to play with. I would probably do best with a dog a bit bigger then me since I can overwhelm little ones with my energy that I put into wrestling and playing. I run like the wind playing chase with all the other dogs in my foster home and have no problem keeping up with even the fastest dog in the group. I am crate trained and am a pro at using the doggy door and go outside to do my business. I am energetic but still love to be held and loved on too. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines. All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.
