Little Melly and her friends---Clarke and Dolly were rescued from a bad puppy mill situation ---they had very little human contacts--and from what we were told , they lived with an aggressive large dog--so they can be a little nervous with larger dogs--but are fine with dogs their size---they are now in loving foster homes and are learning about being part of a family ---These pups will need dog saavy families who will continue to work with them to help them build confidence and learn about being loved----we feel they will be best in a knowledgeable dog home with another sweet dog about their size--a quiet adult home would be best for them-----contact leeselman@Comcast.net and thanks for checking out all of the great pups on Southern Comforts---- All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, puppies have had a series of four vaccines All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes in Texas or New England; We do not have a facility. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.
