This is Nigel---a little long legged chi pug mix with a corkscrew tail--he is a very loving and busy little guy--gets along great with all of foster siblings--he is about 2 years old and weighs in at about 10 pounds---Before we rescued him it appears he had a bad accident where he lost most of his tongue--it was all healed when we got him--but the vet said she was pretty sure it was not a birth defect--but an accident and would have been very painful--so we do not know if he got it stuck in something or if another dog could have done this damage---he is healthy and happy now and you would never know it unless you looked in his mouth----the only residual effect her has is that when he eats he does drool . His foster mom pops him in his crate for mealtime-he eats gets a face wipe and is off and ready to play again----So we do not really consider him a Special Needs pup---his family just needs to know this about him----he is very loving and spunky---the family that adopts him will enjoy his busy antics--he is a little doll--Plays with everyone from the big labs to the little dogs and the cats !!!
