Taffy came to our rescue from a city shelter---she had been badly neglected in her old home--her teeth were awful and needed a major dental, she had heartworms that had to be treated--and if that was not enough--we thought she had some type of abdominal tumor--when our vet went in to see what was going on she found approximately 20 rubber bands---we think she might have eaten them thinking they were some kind of food---the vet managed to remove all of them and she recovered great--- she is a super sweet little girl--getting along with her foster family and foster siblings great--she loves to be held and ride in the car.  We are looking for a great home where she will be very well cared for--brushed and groomed regularly, good food, good vet care.

We will not adopt her to a first time dog owner or to families with large dogs or small children.  We are looking for experienced dogs owners that have had dogs that needed grooming etc on a regular basis--  Also, Taffy has a lot of love to give and we want a family that has a lot of time to spend with her and can take her along as well on a regular basis---She is a very special girl If you think you can give this little princess the perfect home--please contact us at leeselman@comcast.net
