This sweet girl and her two siblings, Hunter and Pumpkin were born approximately 05/2018.  They were rescued off the streets after most likely being dumped---Luckily an animal advocacy group saw them and rescued them and asked us to take them into rescue--they were thin but generally healthy and very very sweet.  They are getting lots of good puppy food, getting all of their vaccines, and getting altered and microchipped---  They are ready for their new homes and are taking applications--We want to make sure they get the best of homes---Families that have the time to train and continue to socialize--we would like them to have a playful dog in their new home or have a great  set up where they would have family members around a lot for play, love, and play dates with other social pups.    We think these pups will be more of a small medium size--maybe 25-30 pounds-so they would be great to go along to work, etc.  They are big enough to keep up on hikes and long walks, but small enough to be easy to take along---Please contact leeselman@comcast.net for an application.  Thanks for checking out all of the great dogs on Southern Comforts Animal Rescue website

~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.   Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog.
