Meet this brave survivor boy---Brazos came to us very injured after what we think was an accident where he was tied in the back of a truck and fell out and was drug until the rope broke--Amazingly he had no broken bones--but many lacerations and wounds from the road --Our great vet stitched him back together and he required lots of TLC and now he is all healed and a GREAT dog--- he will always have his scars--but he has a great personality---good with dogs of all sizes and loves his people as well----He is still young so he does need an active family that is ready to provide plenty of exercise and ongoing training that all young pups need --he is also very smart and eager to please---just a wonderful dog overall-- He is a big boy--about 80 pounds so his new family needs to be sure they have plenty of room for this boy---Contact leeselman@comcast.net for an application ---and thanks for checking out all of the great dogs on Southern Comforts ~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.   Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog.
