Meet RHINO---this is one very special boy--he came into a city shelter and everyone there fell in love with him--- they did know that he was a bully and also felt he had some hearing impairment so they wanted to be sure he got a great home---They kept him in the cat room while they worked to find a good rescue that would take him in and be sure that his new family was perfect for him---- We think this boy is an American Staffordshire terrier maybe mixed with some French bull dog---he is estimated to be about two years old ane weighs around 50 pounds--he has adorable shorter legs and  a stocky build---  We have had a trainer evaluate him that works with a lot of dogs with hearing impairment and she feels he can hear some--but needs a family that has some experience working with a dog like Rhino--he knows some basic hand commands and is treat motivated which helps the training- We will NOT adopt him to first time dog owners and are looking for experienced dog owners ---No small children that could startle him--although we have found him to have amazing personality -- We do feel he would do best with a hearing dog---his best friend at the shelter and also now in foster is Rambo---- if someone was looking for two AMAZING dogs----
