Hi my name is Johnny D and I am a 1 year old Boston Terrier. I was brought into the shelter having been attacked by some big dogs and my front leg was horribly mangled. I was taken to the hospital where they had to remove my leg. Sorry to say my last owner had also let me become heartworm positive. I was taken into foster care for my wound to mend and once healed I then went through heartworm treatment. Despite what I have endured it has not slowed me down one bit. I run and play as well as any 4 legged dog and I get along with every dog in my foster home even the cat is A-Ok with me. I am trained to the doggy door and do great as far as being housebroken. I am looking for an active home that will take me for long walks and even hiking 3 legs is as good as 4 to me.
