 Hi! My name is Shelby. I am a sweet little female Dachshund mix around 4 months old. I look very much like one parent was a Dachshund and the other a Weimaraner which makes for a interesting and adorable combination. I won’t be a big girl but I do have a big personality. My foster mom thinks I am a great snuggler and I hand out kisses freely. My favorite past time is wrestling with my stuffed toys but it always ends with us cuddling till we feel the need to play more. Since I am going to be a small girl my foster mom wants me to join a home that has older gentle children a family that is very available to me since I am a baby and need trained properly. Perhaps a doggie playmate my size (large dogs frighten me) would be nice also. I am crate trained so I am well on my way to being housebroke. I am not quite ready for my new home I will be available for adoption August 12th after I have been spayed and recovered in my foster home. No decision will be made till that date. I am ready though to take applications from homes that think I am as perfect as my foster mom does.
