***UPDATE********* Sunflower had surgery on July 28th and made it through like a champ! The surgery was more involved than originally thought so she is still at the hospital recovering and will be for a few more days. We are all optimistic that Sunflower will recover and have pain free life now! We want to thank all of you that donated SO GENEROUSLY to the Special Needs Fund.. your quick action and generosity resulted in enough money to finance her surgery........we were astounded at the response from all of you...THANK YOU!!!!!! We will be posting another update when Sunflower comes home from the hospital.......:) ******************************************************** Little Sunflower keeps smiling despite the huge hernia she has in her abdomen...:( We are currently working on raising the money for her surgery .....once she receives this care and recovers she will be available for adoption. We are inviting anyone who may be so inclined to send $5 towards the Sunflower Needs Five" drive.
