Frances was rescued from a small animal shelter where she had been turned in very pregnant. In fact she had 11 babies about one hour after she was turned in. Imagine some owner" brought this girl inas she was in labor--and only because they never spayed her !!! Lucky for her a rescue volunteer arrived within the hour and got her out of there! Frances was such a good momma to her pups she did not want to leave them or stop nursing...even when she was skin and bones herself. Frances has a wonderful gentle demeanor. She is great with kids and other dogs but also would be happy as an only dog with lots of people loving.. She lived most of her previous life outdoors but now that she has a taste for living in a house she loves the good life and appreciates being a house doggie!!! She loves hanging out in the house on her dog bed. She walks well on a leash and is not a big jumper. Frances is about two years old and weighs about 50-55 pounds She is just a wonderful laid back girl who is ready for a great new start to life!
