Please meet the adorable loving and most precious Matthew !!! This boy has had a dreadful life of neglect before he was picked up as a stray and taken to a county shelter---Our groomer said in all of  her years of grooming she had never seen a dog with such huge matts all over his body---weighed him before and after his groom--and we took of THREE POUNDS of matts and hair from this poor boy---his legs were constricted from the matts and he could barely walk. His tummy was totally matted so when he pottied all of the urine stayed on his tummy causing a horrible diaper rash----the shelter tried to cut some matts off before we got him and cut one of his ears----Now we tell you all this but also want to tell you this is the happiest and most loving littte guy--he is so happy to be able to run freely and play--he loves all of his foster siblings and plays sweetly for hours with all of them---he plays like a puppy as he probalby never had a chance to be a puppy before. We think Matthew is about two years old and weighs in at approx 18 pounds. We are looking for the best of the best of homes for this angels-here is what Matthew needs in his new home---dog savvy peole with dog experience--a family that has had dogs that require grooming and are committed to regular and consistent grooming---a fenced in yard as he loves nothing better than to explore and play tag---and at least one other playful dog----After living the life he had to endure--we want it ALL for him this time around.  This boy has a huge love of life and an even bigger heart-when his foster mom holds him he just melts against her---truly a very very special little boy---- Contact leeselman@comcast.net for an applicaiton and thanks for checking out all of the great dogs on The Chi Society.
