Pearl the sweet girl.

This is the best dog you will every find.  She is Catahoula/lab mix about 2 years old.  She was heartworm positive and succesfully went through treatment.   Pearl never barks even when all the other dogs are raising cain about the guys stealing our trash at the street.  She sits patiently at your feet with one paw raised for attention.  Just look at those gentle adoring eys.  She is very gentle with the smaller dogs and puppies and tolerates them jumping and nipping her.  She sleeps all night in the house and has never had an accident.  She will follow you all around the house and just be grateful to be close to you and settles down when it is quiet time.  She didn't need any leash training as she is well behaved on a leash.  She has the large webbed toes of the lab and I'm sure she will like the beach or lake for retrieving and running. There is just not a sweeter more loyal dog than Pearl.  In the video, those are puppies that I bottle fed from 10 days old and Pearl is mothering them as if they were her own.

Please email inquiries to:  socoanimalrescue@comcast.net.  We look forward to hearing from you.
Alll of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog. Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match--
