Skippy was rescued from a kill shelter and his foster noticed he limped when he played.  She got an x-ray of his back leg which showed a fracture of his back leg, which probably happened months ago and he recieved no medical attention until now.  It is going to require several surgeries to try to save the leg instead of amputation.

Despite this horrible injury and constant pain, Skippy is happy-go-lucky, loves all dogs and people, and is a joy to have around.  He is house, leash, and crate trained but prefers to sleep in your bed.  He likes nothing more that to sit in your lap and give you kisses.
