Sissy was found as a stray and picked up by a kind lady who is fostering her.  The vet thinks she is about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, house trained, crate trained, walks good on a leash and is great with other dogs.  She is ok with strangers to the house once they are introduced to her.  She would be a good house and yard guardian for someone.  She appears to be alpha so a home with a male dog around her size would be a good fit.  She probably would not do well with cats as she likes to chase squirrles.  Please email tlandry002@comcast.net for an application on this adorable gal.

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog.
