This angel was found as a stray with 4 babies about 8-9 weeks old.  Some how, she managed to keep her little pack together and protected.  We think she is about 1-2 years old.   She is crate and house trained and is learning to trust people.  She is very loving with her foster mom, but still shy around strangers until she trusts them.  She is the "nanny" to 5 small dogs in the house since her pups have outgrown her motherly love;  they are too rough with her and nearly her size!  As we see so often with strays, she had heartworms and is undergoing treatment which should be finished the first part of July and will be ready for her own home.  If you have time to devote to this cutie please email tlandry002@comcast.net for an application.  She will give you her unconditional devotion and love.

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog.
