Silvie was found at a local self serve car wash so scared it took us 5 days to get her to come to us.  She has been a lap girl ever since.  She is so sweet and is good with other dogs.  She is 3 years old just 5 pounds so it would be good for the other dog not to be much bigger than she is.  She would also do just fine as only dog.  She is potty trained and crate trained.  When she is tired she likes to be totally under a light weigh blanket.  She needs a fenced in property and please make sure their are no areas that she could get out of because she is so small she could get around a gate if it doesn't meet the fence or ground.  She can be shy at first when meeting her, but once she warms up she will never leave your side or lap.  Our wish for her would be a retired senior person that would enjoy a lap dog.  She will bark to alarm you that someone is at the door or if your front door opens.  She loves Animal Crackers and to go for short walks.  She also does great in the car rides and will try and jump in by herself but because of her small size will need help.  She also needs a foot stool or doggy steps to be able to get on the couch.  If you would like to find out more information on Silvie e mail fostermomwendy@outlook.com 

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes in Texas or New England; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES.
