Meet sweet baby Darby the dobie puppy--- This little girl was a stray taken into a small city shelter----Her back leg was broken and the shelter has no funds for vet care---They called Southern Comforts---our small private rescue group for help--  They did not want to euthanize an otherwise healthy little pup--  We took her into our rescue and are committed to get her well and find her an awesome forever home--  This I where WE NEED HELP--- the leg will need pins to heal properly --  even with our rescue discount this will run approximately 1500.00-- we are asking anyone that reads that that loves dobies, or loves puppies, or loves animal to help Darby --- No donation is too small --we have a paypal account that you can easily donate through--- The instructions for DONATING ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST----  there is also a DONATE button on our Southern Comforts Animal Rescue Facebook.   Darby will be up for adoption to a great home once she is well--so if you have a wonderful home and are interested please feel free to fill out our online application  on our website---we will be looking for great dog owners ready to be there forever for this little one who has had a rough start---  Darby has a docked tail and declaws removed--she has natural ears---sweet and loving precious baby----  Contact leeselman @Comcast.net for more info--- please read below for more information about us

~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.   Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog.
